Core Return details

Core Return details

This screen displays complete detailed information for a selected order/line item.

 

1. Number of part numbers found: this number indicates how many line items exist for the selected order number (H-invoice, Sales/Work Order). If there is more than one, you may navigate through the records by using the Next or Previous buttons.

2. Next/Previous: if there are multiple line items for the selected order number (H-invoice, Sales/Work Order), clicking the Next or Previous buttons will navigate through them. (If there is only a single line item, these buttons will not appear.)

3. Detail data: this section contains all data specific to the selected order and line item. Fields include:
Customer PO/Contract No: customer's supplied purchase order number.
HON Order/Shipper No: advanced exchange order number (H-invoice, SalesOrder/WorkOrder)
Line No: line item number for the selected order and part.
Core Record Status: if the core is due, status is "OPEN"; if the core is no longer due, status is "CLOSED".
Cust Name: customer's name.
Return This Core: click the R button to complete a Core Return Tag for this selected order/line item. The Return a Core main screen will be displayed.
Note: the R button will not be displayed if core status is "CLOSED", meaning a core is no longer due.
No Core to Return: click the N button if you do not intend to return a core for this selected order/line item. The Comments screen will be displayed, and you will be requested to give a brief explanation of why the core will not be returned.
Note: unless special arrangements have been made, you will be billed for any unreturned cores.
Note: the N button will not be displayed if core status is "CLOSED", meaning a core is no longer due.
Cust Code: customer code from Honeywell legacy mainframe systems.
Shipped To Address: customer's address from Honeywell legacy mainframe systems where this part was shipped.
Bill To Address: customer's billing address from Honeywell legacy mainframe systems.
Core Return Admin: Core Returns Administrator assigned to this customer code.
SHP Qty: the quantity originally shipped/issued for this part.
RTN Qty: the total quantities returned on completed Core Return Tags.
INT Qty: the quantity returned to Honeywell on completed Core Return Tags but not yet received (in-transit).
OWE Qty: the remaining quantity due to Honeywell, minus any in-transit quantities.
Cust Unit Issued: part number shipped/issued to the customer.
Description: part number description.
Source System: facility's legacy mainframe system from which data is pulled.
C/C: condition code of shipped/issued part. Codes may vary by facility, but generally, B = exchange part, C/D/K/P = special order/pricing.
Critical Part: if the part is critical, a bold red "Y" is displayed ("Yes"), otherwise an "N" is displayed ("No"). Critical parts are those which are in high demand from Honeywell customers; those cores should be returned as soon as possible.
Ship/Issue Date: the date when the part was shipped/issued to the customer.
Original Core Due Date: the date when the core is due, based on ship/issue date plus the number of days allowed for the customer to return core. The general policy allows each customer 30 days to return the core, except for Garrett consignment customers, who have 60 days.
Revised Core Due Date: the Core Returns Administrator may set an individual, non-recurring change to this specific order and line item's due date. To make special arrangements for the late delivery of a specific core, contact your Core Returns Administrator by clicking the View Comments button on this page, selecting the Comment Type "Customer Comment", and requesting a Revised Due Date.
Core Tag Print Date: date(s) when customer printed Core Return Tag(s) for core(s) being returned. (Multiple dates may appear if cores were returned at different times for a multiple-quantity order/line item.)
Core Ship Date: date(s) entered by customer for when core(s) would be returned. (Multiple dates may appear if cores were returned at different times for a multiple-quantity order/line item.)
Days Past Due: number of days after the core is past due, based on core due date. A number in bold red indicates the number of days the core is already past due. A number with a negative (-) sign indicates the number of days remaining before the core is past due.
A-List Price: the price displayed is New Price x Quantity Owed. It is the value of the order that will be billed (minus discount) if remaining cores are not returned.
Previously Allowed Core Override(s)?: if the Core Return Administrator has accepted a non-acceptable core for this order and line item and the customer has completed and printed a Core Return Tag, this field will display a bold red "Y" ("Yes"). Otherwise, "N" will be displayed ("No").
Service Level Agreement: indicates whether a part was shipped under MSP (Maintenance Service Plan) or WTY (warranty).

5. S/N Issued: click the View S/N button to get a pop-up list of serial numbers shipped for this order and line item, if applicable.
Accept Core Override: the Core Returns application does not generally allow a non-acceptable part number to be submitted to Honeywell through the Return a Core screen. Under special circumstances, a Core Returns Administrator may allow a non-acceptable core for this order/line item, in which case a bold red "Y" will display ("Yes") to inform the customer that an override has been allowed; otherwise, "N" will be displayed ("No"). To request an override, contact your Core Returns Administrator by clicking the View Comments button on this page, select the Comment Type "Customer Comment", and request a Core Override (including the non-acceptable part number you wish to return).

6. View Returns for this Core Record: click this button to view the Returned Core Details screen (displays any cores for which a Core Return Tag has been completed for this order/line item).
View Comments: click this button to view the Comments screen and all comments related to this order/line item.
Close: click this button to return to the previous screen.
