The CD-830 control display unit (CDU) is a high resolution display that offers full touch screen functionality with enhanced visibility for the FMZ-2000 Flight Management System (FMS).
The CD-830 control display unit (CDU) is a direct plug and play plug-and-play replacement for CD-810 and CD-820 equipped aircraft. This high resolution display offers full touch screen functionality with enhanced visibility for the FMZ-2000/2010 flight management system (FMS) and Primus 1000/2000 Flight Guidance Systems.
Enhanced to provide advancements and capabilities that meet current mandates, Honeywell’s 4th-generation CDU provides significant benefits compared to previously released display units. The latest design increases reliability, reduces weight, provides improved cockpit aesthetics and touch-screen display technologies that are proven in the cockpit environment to enhance the human-machine interface.
The CD-830 offers superior benefits over legacy display technology. Building upon those prior advances and offering further improvements - including reduced weight and cost of ownership. It has been designed as a plug-and-play replacement for CD-810 and CD-820 equipped aircraft in order to enable a seamless transition.
