Primus Epic for Gulfstream PlaneView

Primus Epic Gulfstream PlaneView

Our Primus Epic for Gulfstream PlaneView is the most efficient way to improve your Gulfstream PlaneView’s capabilities while enhancing passenger safety and aircraft value with minimal downtime.

Our Primus Epic for Gulfstream PlaneView is the most efficient way to improve your Gulfstream PlaneView’s capabilities while enhancing passenger safety and aircraft value with minimal downtime.

Foxtrot Baseline Upgrade: Our Certification Foxtrot Upgrade improves the Gulfstream PlaneView’s aircraft performance, value, safety and navigation accuracy. The Certification Foxtrot is authorized by Gulfstream-owned, Aircraft Service Change (ASC) documentation. Certification Foxtrot is only available through Gulfstream Service Centers.

Enhanced Navigation ASC 59B (G450) - ASC 84B (G550) includes:

  • Future Air Navigation System Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (FANS 1/A CPDLC), Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Localizer Performance with Vertical guidance (WAAS-LPV), Required navigation performance (RNP 0.3)
  • Paperless Terminal Charts and Maps

Synthetic Vision System (SV-PFD): Integrates terrain, major obstacles and runway information with existing primary flight display data to present a day visual meteorological condition (VMC) world which dramatically improves night time and instrumental awareness.

XM Weather: Presents weather more clearly and more often with the latest XM uplink weather shown directly on PlaneView’s multifunction display. It’s faster, more robust and saves money, too.

Golf Baseline Upgrade: Installs the PlaneView II Master Operating System (MOS) software on G650 aircraft. The MOS software resolves issues caused from initial Type Certification, supports minimal component changes and provides full flight management system (FMS) functionality. It establishes an operating platform for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out for DO-260B compliance.

ADS-B: ADS-B is a next-generation surveillance technology that incorporates air and ground aspects that provide Air Traffic Control (ATC) with a more accurate picture of the aircraft’s three-dimensional position in the en route, terminal, approach and surface environments. This improves aircraft separation assurance by improving surveillance in remote regions that are beyond the range of existing ATC radar systems.

FANS: Reduces crew workload and time spent traveling on trans-oceanic flights. It also saves fuel by providing more efficient oceanic routing with up-link clearances accepted directly into flight plan causing less delay on the ground and precise departure times during oceanic routes.
