The Honeywell HMC6343 is a fully integrated electronic compass module featuring built-in firmware for heading computation and magnetic distortion calibration. It combines a three-axis magnetoresistive sensor, three-axis MEMS accelerometer, analog and digital support circuits, a microprocessor, and proprietary algorithms—all within a compact 9.0mm x 9.0mm x 1.9mm LCC package.
This ready-to-use, tilt-compensated solution simplifies integration for design engineers, enabling high-volume, cost-effective compassing in applications such as binoculars, cameras, night vision optics, laser range finders, antenna positioning, and other industrial systems.

Honeywell HMR3300 – Digital Compass for Precision Heading
The Honeywell HMR3300 is a digital compass solution engineered for precision heading applications. Utilizing Honeywell’s magnetoresistive sensor technology, it offers reliable, accurate performance in a compact, solid-state design.
Designed for seamless integration into customer systems, the HMR3300 supports a 5V logic-level serial data interface with ASCII command format. It includes a MEMS accelerometer to enable horizontal three-axis, tilt-compensated heading accuracy—performing reliably up to a ±60° tilt range.
