Display Unit Phase 3A Upgrade

Upgrade your Boeing’s 737/777 displays to Honeywell’s latest DU Phase 3A, halt obsolescence and avoid failures on older Phase I or II displays. New display glasses and LED backlight technology ensures that your visualization of critical flight information is evenly lit and brighter.

Situational awareness directly impacts flight safety, and to maintain it, pilots are required to have on on-demand access to accurate flight flight-critical information. A high-definition display unit (DU) is a smart investment to guarantee that your flight crew can operate your aircraft to the highest of safety standards.

As technology evolves, the older Phase I and II displays have been discontinued. But fortunately for Boeing 737 and 777 operators, Honeywell offers a cost-effective upgrade for your aircraft’s display unit to halt obsolescence, while also providing lighter weight, higher reliability, and lower operating cost.

The new Phase IIIA DU functionality is similar to previous liquid crystal display (LCD) units but internally supports a new design which:

  • Reduces the number of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) offering reduced lower weight and higher DU reliability
  • Incorporates a Light Emitting Diode (LED) backlight for a more evenly lit, brighter picture
  • Updates the Display Glass Assemblies (DGAs) to an industry industry-standard striped-pixel LCD
  • Includes provision for an expansion module for future growth
