Air Data Systems

For more than five decades, we have designed, developed and integrated RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minima) compliant Air Data Systems on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.

We provide the entire system including probes, sensors, electronics and software. We also integrate our own air data modules (ADMs) or analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and probes from industry-leading suppliers. Our systems provide critical flight parameters and work easily with aircraft systems via 429 or 1553. Typical components of air data systems are total air temperature (TAT) probes, angle of attack (AOA) vanes and probes, Pitot probes, Pitot Static probes, multi-function probes (MFP) and outside air temperature (OAT) probes.

Our air data modules include:

  • Industry-leading modules such as size, weight and power (SWAP). ADMs feature a reduced plumbing weight by locating it near the probes.
  • Highly reliable parts because they don’t combine electronics with low reliability mechanical probes and heaters.
  • Industry-leading sensor stability that results in low fleet provisioning and sparing rates due to high maintenance costs from periodic accuracy checks.
  • Reduced maintenance costs from periodic accuracy checks due to industry-leading sensor stability.
