The Primus 2000 is a digital flight guidance, flight management, and electronic display system.

The Primus 2000 is a digital flight guidance, flight management, and electronic display system. It integrates the electronic flight instrument system, flight director, autopilot / yaw damper system, inertial reference system and the flight management system. The pilot's and copilot's flight instruments and flight directors are displayed, respectively, on the left and right of the dual electronic flight instrument system; the electronic attitude director indicator and the electronic horizontal situation indicator are displayed on the primary flight display.

The Primus 2000 delivers:

  • CAT II landing capability
  • Windshear guidance

The Primus 2000 system can be found on the following in-service aircraft today:

  • Bombardier Global Express, G5000 and XRS
  • Dassault Falcon 900EX, Falcon 900C
  • Cessna Citation X
  • Dornier 328 Turboprop and 328 Jet
