60kVA Generator
The 60kVA generator provides aircraft crews a one-third power boost in a compact unit that is a drop-in replacement for the 45kVA generator.
Our electric power generators and voltage regulators have supported aerospace for over 60 years.
As an example, the 60kVA generator gives UH-60 Black Hawk crews a one-third power boost in a compact unit that is a drop-in replacement for the helicopter’s current 45kVA generator.
The 60kVA generator:
- Fits the same diameter and is only a small increase in generator length (~1/3 inch) than the 45 kVA
- Improves power density (7.2 lb. increase with 25% more power)
- 45kVA Generator Weight = 28.3 lbs.
- 60kVA Generator Weight = 35.5 lbs.
- Exemplifies mature design that provides a low risk product upgrade
- Demonstrates performance and reliability similar to the 45kVA system
