    Problem: We are incorporating SB 700−49−5003, which involves special check/modification - automatic control system – visual inspection and sealant application method for the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor. 

    This SB refers you to Honeywell VSB RE220−49−8169. On page 13/22 of VSB RE220−49−8169, it states to use Dow Corning PR-1200 (Red) RTV Primer. The lead time on this product is 60 days, which is not a viable option for us. 
    However, we have found DOWSIL - PR-1200 RTV Prime Coat which we have in stock. I have attached both DOWSIL - PR-1200 RTV Prime Coat and DOWSIL - PR-1200 RTV Prime Coat RED Technical Data sheets. There doesn’t seem to be much difference between the two. Can you approve the use of DOWSIL - PR-1200 RTV Prime Coat?
