AH-2100 Super Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS)

Overview
The AH-2100 Super Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) improves accuracy, provides greater safety and accommodates future growth as the communication, navigation, surveillance environment evolves. It is designed for growth and to be interchangeable with the LASEREF V Micro inertial reference system (IRS) and can be easily upgraded. You can reduce maintenance cost with 25,000 operating hours predicted reliability and eliminate the flux valve and compass calibration procedures.

Additional features include:
  • Automatic mode control eliminates the AHRS control panel, reducing pilot workload
  • Immune to local magnetic disturbances, solar storms and lightning
  • High accuracy heading and attitude information improves weather radar, enhanced ground proximity warning system (EGPWS), satellite communication, broadband datalink, displays and autopilot performance
  • Dynamic performance - 20 times better than other AHRS equipment
  • Eliminates low frequency wing rock
  • Eliminates external aiding sources (traffic advisory system, magnetic sensor, global positioning system) allowing greater dispatch performance
  • Built-in self-test with 99 percent coverage
  • Passive cooling system eliminates weight and cost of cooling fans and ARINC mounting trays
