Overview
Honeywell offers a diverse range of Automatic Identification System (AIS) Radio Frequency (RF) receivers aiming to satisfy requirements of a variety of platforms: NanoSats, MicroSats and traditional “Big-space” satellites.
Our receivers offer functional options for spectrum capture (processing of the AIS data on the ground), or flexible receivers with the ability to switch between on-board processing and on-ground processing or even reprogram the equipment altogether in flight.
Interfaces and design of equipment are optimized for the respective type of spacecraft, power consumption, mass and other considerations, reflecting the needs of the specific mission. Our products have strong heritage and have been flown on multiple missions.
Honeywell’s industrial capability has proven ability to manufacture in the high volumes required for Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations.
