VIPER Mobile Satellite Communications
Overview
The VIPER is a palletized high-speed data terminal that can be rolled on or off aircraft. The system works with the C-130 Hatch Mounted Inmarsat Antenna, or any other Inmarsat approved Aero H ARINC 741 antenna.
This mobile unit provides a communication system that is independent of aircraft equipment already installed. The VIPER is ideal for rapid deployment for missions that require a broadband communications pipe.
It works with both Swift 64 and SwiftBroadband services and can support simultaneous voice calls and full-duplex channels for multiple simultaneous STU-III calls, or inverse multiplexing for combined bandwidth.
