AC-27 Common Datalink Antenna
The AC-27 common datalink (CDL) system is a low size, weight and power (SWAP) antenna designed to support line-of-sight tactical military communications. The compact, high-gain system provides efficient operation for rugged helicopter environments, fixed-wing aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The A-27 is scalable and enables rapid communication of high volume data in airborne, ground mobile and shipboard platforms. Currently, with a field deployment kit integration, the antenna system can also support ground-based tactical communications in the GC-27 configuration.
The AC-27 CDL system enables data interoperability and seamless communications of symmetric data at up to 45 megabits per second supporting a range of surveillance, warfare and recovery missions. The Ku-band system enables operators to transmit and receive data over 100 nautical miles.
- The AC-27 is the most interoperable and scalable phased array system available.
- Advanced radio frequency (RF) electronics provide virtually instant high-bandwidth networking capabilities for ground and airborne vehicles to either receive or transmit tactical video, radar, acoustic and other sensor data to host surface ships or other airborne systems.
