Multi-Function Control and Display Unit (MCDU)
Overview
The MCDU is a combination of a keyboard and a high-performance Liquid-Crystal Display (LCD) that allows pilots to input and modify flight plans. It works in conjunction with the flight management system and has a multifunction display-keyboard interface for data-entry and display of Flight Management System (FMS) data and other aircraft functions.
