Five products that made Honeywell Aerospace impress at MRO Americas 2022
In April 2022, in Dallas, Texas, the so-awaited MRO Americas Conference took place – the largest aviation MRO event and one of the top tradeshows in the United States.
We were excited to be back there in person and meet our customers and partners face-to-face to discuss aviation’s future and challenges, to present innovative solutions for our evolving operations and hear how we can serve our customers even better.

This year at MRO, we had some of our LED Lighting stars on the stage. Honeywell has been a leader in aircraft lighting systems since 1933 and our LED Lighting solutions improve reliability, are simple to install and reduce maintenance costs by up to 70% over legacy products.
In addition to lower operating costs, our LED lighting offer lowers power input requirements, provides weight reduction, increased light intensity and modular designs with sub-assembly parts that reduce inventory spare parts requirements.
Honeywell’s aircraft lighting systems are available for your Boeing and Airbus fleet.
The potential for signals from 5G broadband networks to interfere with radar altimeters has been in the news lately – and with good reason. Honeywell’s ALA-52B is the only radar altimeter with the FAA’s Alternative Means of Compliance (AMOC) certification for achieving superior resilience to 5G interference, and this was a hot topic at our booth and in our meetings.
The ALA-52B Radar Altimeter is available on the A320, A330, B737NG, B737Max, B747, B757, B767, and the B777.
IntuVue RDR-4000 3D Weather Radar System
Since the 1950s, Honeywell has been a leader in the airborne weather radar systems for all types of aircraft. Using 3D technology, the RDR-4000 automatically scans the sky at 17 tilt angles – the most in the industry – and delivers a 3D view of the weather through an intuitive display that pilots love.
The IntuVue RDR-4000 3D Weather Radar System is available on the A320, A330, B737NG, B737Max, B777, E-170/175/190/195/E2.
Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) RESCU406
The emergency locator transmitter (ELT) is an essential piece of flight safety equipment mandated for just about every aircraft, including large passenger jets. Honeywell’s RESCU406 delivers the next generation of ELT with a smaller, lighter and easy-to-use interface.
We’re offering a special trade-in price when exchanging your RESCU 406S/SE in for brand new RESCU 406SG or trading in your RESCU 406AF/AFN for a new RESCU 406AFN2.
The RESCU406 ELT is available for all aircraft.
Honeywell Aerospace Trading – HAT
Among all the retrofits and upgrades available for our customers, we had our Honeywell Aerospace Trading group attend the event and meet with our customers to provide preowned certified parts – helping them receive the right part, for the right price, exactly when needed!
Our offering has expanded to include more than Honeywell products. We provide the complete set of line replacement units required for Boeing 737NG, 777 and Airbus 320 series aircraft, nose to tail.
