Advanced Navigation (A-NAV) Procedures

New FMS database makes special instrument flight procedures available for many  aircraft types

Advanced navigation (A-NAV) procedures are FAA-approved instrument approaches that utilize the advantages of both RNP AR and LPV, providing better landing minimums than public approaches. Our A-NAV procedures are considered “Specials” because they were developed by non-FAA service providers and must be listed on LOA/Ops Spec C081.

A-NAV procedures do not require an RNP-AR LOA/Ops Spec C384. Training typically includes the review of the briefing chart.

A-NAV Approaches are part of the Honeywell Navigation Services suite of offerings. Other offerings include
