Procuring JetWave Equipment with VSE Aviation

Collaboration between VSE Aviation and Honeywell’s Business Group eases purchasing satellite communication equipment.

VSE Aviation, Honeywell’s 2018 Channel Partner of the Year, has further enhanced collaboration with the APAC Business and General Aviation APAC group when they signed the agreement to become the distributor for Honeywell’s JetWave high-speed satellite communication equipment.

As part of this business cooperation, VSE Aviation will provision inventory at their Singapore site lessening lead time for shipment to customers, allowing business jet operators and installers alike to procure from them directly.

“With VSE Aviation carrying ready-to-ship stocks of our JetWave equipment, we’re enabling customers especially in key geographies like the Americas and Asia Pacific to quickly procure them,” said Aftermarket APAC BGA Leader Amit Kaul. “This saves them both time and cost to make speedier decisions on JetWave purchases”.

There are two parts to this agreement. The first, covers the equipment for JetWave installation aimed at VVIP business jets (Boeing Business Jets or BBJ and Airbus Corporate Jets or ACJ), exclusively supplying the antenna, the antenna controller, modem and router components hardware for the Americas and Asia Pacific. The other part is targeted at business jets in the APAC region. VSE Aviation will hold stock for such parts where both operators and dealers can get the hardware directly from them.

“By offering our facility to carry these high-speed SATCOM solutions, we are enabling a turnkey solution for this program that allows installers, operators and MRO companies, to have a quicker access to this set of satellite communication hardware,” said Rishiraj Singh, Senior Vice President International Business Development, VSE Aviation. “This close cooperation demonstrates VSE Aviation’s commitment to benefit customers and OEMs enabling a quicker purchase cycle”.
