Honeywell Gives You Star Treatment Every Time You Fly

Honeywell Gives You Star Treatment Every Time You Fly

You don’t have to be a world-famous actor, country music legend or NASCAR champion to deserve star billing whenever you fly on your business jet.

No matter who you are, Honeywell makes it easy and affordable to make your aircraft a safer, more efficient, more comfortable and better-connected business tool that can take you anywhere you want to go.

But don’t take our word for it. Listen to what Hollywood superstar Mark Wahlberg, King of Country George Strait and champion NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski, experienced pilots and directors of maintenance have to say about Honeywell upgrades to their business jets.

Mark Wahlberg modernizes his flight deck

Mark Wahlberg and his flight operations team partnered with Honeywell to modernize the flight deck with the Honeywell Primus Elite Advanced Features (PEAF) upgrade, install a new JetWave high-speed satellite communications system and make other improvements to his Bombardier Global Express. Honeywell offers a comprehensive solution to upgrade Global-Series aircraft.

With PEAF, Mark replaced the aircraft’s cathode ray tube (CRT) displays with Honeywell’s DU-875/885 liquid crystal displays (LCDs). He also added a Honeywell SmartView synthetic vision system (SVS) that provides 3D color images of runways, terrains and obstacles, giving pilots a clear view of the virtual flight path.

The combination of JetWave and cabin connectivity services from Honeywell Forge gives Mark the fastest, most reliable and most available inflight Wi-Fi capabilities available on a business jet. “My family and I love the improved Wi-Fi, which lets us do almost anything we can do on the ground, including watching streaming videos and live TV,” he said.

George Strait stays connected no matter where he flies

George Strait also replaced his legacy SATCOM system with JetWave turning his jet into “my personal honkytonk time machine. We save a lot of time flying between cities where I’m performing, and we can use our flight time to get work done or just kick back and relax.”

“With JetWave we can stream live news, sports or movies. JetWave also lets us video conference or just make a FaceTime call to the grandkids,” George added.

Brad Keselowski trusts Honeywell

Brad Keselowski relies heavily on his business jet. “Flying to and from the racetrack is so important to us because it lets us fit our schedules and balance personal life and professional life,” he said. “We have some great technology that Honeywell has put on our airplane with Primus Elite. It really ups the game in flying safely and effectively.”

Brad is also a big fan of Honeywell’s industry-leading Maintenance Service Plans (MSPs), which help him protect his investment and effectively manage maintenance costs. “Being able to budget what we’re going to spend on maintenance allows us to streamline our operations and our budget planning,” he noted.

Of course, not all business aircraft owners and operators use their aircraft to travel to remote and exotic film locations, concert venues full of adoring fans or NASCAR Cup Series races all over the country. But everyone who travels by business jet deserves the ultimate flying experience only Honeywell can provide.
