The Honeywell Aerospace Supplier Portal: Quality Overview
Where Collaboration Meets Compliance: Master Corrective Actions Effortlessly
The Electronic Corrective Actions Tracking System (eCATS) is a web-based tool developed by Honeywell for managing corrective actions related to problems, issues, or findings. It is designed to document corrective and preventive actions in response to nonconformities, adhering to customer, FAA, and external registrar quality record requirements.
eCATS encompasses various Corrective Action Request types, including Internal, Supplier, and External CARs. Additional types include Preventive Action, Supplier RMRA, Notice of Escapes (NOE), and Supplier Reversals.
Suppliers can:
- Search for CARs;
- Create new CARs;
- View, respond to, and approve existing CARs;
- Schedule follow-up and effective reviews.
To access eCATS, suppliers must complete a two-part registration:
1. Honeywell ID Registration:
- Suppliers create a Honeywell ID by clicking "Don't have Honeywell ID? Register" on the sign-in page, handled through the Common Web Authentication (CWA) site, which is separate from eCATS.
- If suppliers already have a Honeywell ID from other applications (like the Supplier Portal), they can use that same ID.
2. eCATS User Profile Registration:
After obtaining their Honeywell ID, suppliers register by selecting “New Supplier/Customer users please register here.”
Yes, a Honeywell ID is required for suppliers to access eCATS and its functionalities.
For issues or requests for clarification, suppliers should use the Help option on the eCATS home page to contact Technical Support.
Suppliers should log in at least once every month to ensure their account remains active and to avoid disruptions.
If suppliers need assistance, they can contact their Honeywell Focal Point, or their Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for immediate guidance. For technical or access-related issues, they can email eCATS Support at: ecats@honeywell.com
