Primus 440/660/880 Weather Radar System

Primus 440/660/880 Weather Radar System

Attention: Effective January 2021, Honeywell is no longer accepting new orders for Primus 440/660/880 weather radars except where contractual obligations apply. Support for these radars is planned through 2026. Honeywell has now achieved TSO approval of our new RDR7000 IntuVue® Weather Radar, which is designed as the replacement for the Primus 440/660/880 and P700/701 series weather radars. The RDR7000 offers a step-change improvement in usability, reliability, and weather detection capability over legacy Primus radar families. These improvements offer enhanced safety and flight operations efficiency while reducing pilot workload, reducing operating costs, and improving the overall passenger experience. More details of the RDR7000 IntuVue® Weather Radar page. For more information regarding this end-of-life program, please reference Honeywell Service Information Letter (SIL) D201909000028.

Avoid bad weather with commercial aviation's most powerful integrated receiver/transmitter/antenna.

Honeywell, the world’s leader in avionics continues to set the standard in weather radar systems with the Primus 440, 660 and 880 family of radars. While operators want quality radar performance, improved reliability and advanced features, they also want a light integrated receiver/transmitter/antenna architecture that’s easy to install. Honeywell’s Primus 440/660/880 family of radars meet these requirements and are by far the most powerful, feature-packed weather radars on the market.
