Honeywell’s RNP Consultancy is here to assist business jet operators in obtaining operational approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly RNAV (RNP) procedures that require special authorization, otherwise known as RNP AR. We offer a full suite of RNP services, including navigation database validation.

RNP AR improves access to terrain-challenged airports through approaches with lower weather minima and enables traffic de-confliction allowing fewer delays into congested airports and those challenged by restricted airspace. It also increases safety with clearly-defined lateral and vertical flight guidance. These benefits allow for a stabilized approach and clearly-defined missed-approach procedures and time and fuel savings with shorter routing to the final approach.

There are over 400 RNP AR procedures available in the U.S., with additional procedures being added each year.
