Horn and Notch

Horn and notch antennas are specialized RF components used for directional and broadband signal transmission, respectively, in radar, communication, and sensing systems.

Horn antennas feature a flared metal waveguide for directional transmission, ideal for microwave frequencies. Notch antennas use a slot or cut in a conductive surface to create compact, broadband radiation patterns, often used in UWB and stealth applications.
