Recorder Test and Ground Equipment
• Aircraft data recovery and analysis software (ADRAS-32) enable analysis of flight data copied from solid state memory.
• The decryption tool software is used to decrypt the recorded flight data to insure secure readout of the DVDR PCMCIA card.
• The Playback-32 software enables airlines to decompress and play back recorded audio data. It also includes the optional rotor speed and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)/frequency shift keying (FSK) time indication.
• Honeywell automated test system (HATS) performs return-to-service test for recorders. Several HATS applications may be installed on the RPGSE, enabling a single platform to provide support for multiple recorders.
• ADRAS on board (AOB) software converts real-time ARINC 717 FDR data into engineering units by using algorithms developed for the particular aircraft being analyzed and displays the data in a readable format for the operator. It also allows operators to create custom configuration files to analyze and create data search equations for batch or event analysis.
• The flight data recorder (FDR) data download enables flight data recorder downloads without removing the unit form the aircraft.
• The handheld download unit (HHDLU) downloads 25 hours of solid state flight data recorders (SSFDR) in less than 5 minutes.
