DU-1310-2 addresses obsolescence; EASy IV supports mandates and reduces maintenance
Customer & Challenge
For a major player in the food industry, air travel connects operations across Brazil and beyond. Their Falcon 7X handles both long-range and regional flights, which demands absolute reliability and situational awareness.
“The EASy II is very reliable, but the EASy IV is much more integrated,” Chief Pilot Alexandre Sclearuc says. “And safety-wise, the situational awareness has been improved significantly as the 2D, 3D maps and ADS-B in showing all the traffic coming off the airports, even on the ground. It's fantastic.”
Solution
To modernize the cockpit and address future mandates, the company partnered with Honeywell and Dassault Falcon Jet Brazil to install the EASy IV Avionics Suite and DU-1310-2 Display Units.
“The EASy IV and the DUs 1310-2 will boost their craft value, enhance their craft mission capability, reducing the maintenance and operation costs,” says José Vinicius, Honeywell’s Regional Sales Manager. “And it will be in compliance with the regulatory mandates.”
By aligning the upgrade with the aircraft’s 48-month inspection, Dassault Falcon Jet Brazil minimized downtime and kept operations on schedule.
"Flying the actual aircraft really exceeds my expectations on the EASy IV program."
– Chief Pilot Alexandre Sclearuc
