Honeywell Authorizes Bombardier Tianjin as a Service Center

Honeywell Authorizes Bombardier Tianjin as a Mechanical Service Center and Avionics Dealer

At the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) 2019, Honeywell announced their collaboration with Bombardier Tianjin, as their Mechanical Service Center and Avionics Dealer for business aircraft in Greater China.

With the help from Bombardier’s Tianjin Services Center, Honeywell will provide customers with up-to-date products and service support programs. The facility will also bring top maintenance services to Bombardier customers in China, ensuring access to support those customers closer to their base of operations. With this collaboration, Honeywell aims to enhance its customer support capabilities for business aircraft customers in Greater China.

“Honeywell looks forward to our enhanced collaboration and relationship with Bombardier Tianjin. Working with Bombardier’s service center would greatly enhance our ability to do retrofits, modifications and upgrades in country and keep us closer to the customers base, reducing their need to fly out of the of region for these events.” said Amit Kaul, Business and General Aviation Leader of Honeywell Aerospace, Asia Pacific.

Bombardier’s Tianjin Service Center was inaugurated in April 2017 in collaboration with the Tianjin Airport Economic Area (TAEA). Bombardier’s service center has obtained Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and several other aviation authorities’ approvals since its opening. Now, it can offer all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services for Global, Challenger and Learjet aircraft registered in CAAC, Hongkong CAD, Macao AACM, Cayman and Bermuda.

According to Honeywell's 27th annual Global Business Aviation Outlook, the business jet industry is expected to experience strong growth in the short to medium term, with up to 7,700 new business jet deliveries worth $251 billion from 2019 to 2028. Operators in Asia Pacific report new jet acquisition plans for 12 percent of their fleet over the next five years.
