Honeywell Ready to Connect at AUSA 2018

Honeywell solutions for the U.S. Army will be front and center at the 2018 Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exhibition. “Ready today. More lethal tomorrow.” is the theme of this year’s AUSA event, set for Oct. 8-10 in Washington.

Honeywell will showcase Army-specific products, services and software solutions at its booth on the convention floor.

“We’re proud of our long history of partnership and support for the U.S. Army,” said Michael Evans, Business Development Director. “Our capabilities align with the Army’s priorities. We improve efficiency, enable mission accomplishment and protect the warfighter in the field. AUSA is an important event for us because we get to talk about what we bring to the table and listen to soldiers who use Honeywell technology every day.”

At the Honeywell booth, visitors can learn about the TALIN family of inertial navigation systems and other products that support the Army’s long-range precision fires priority. TALIN products enable rapid precision targeting and attack, even in GPS-denied environments, creating true “shoot and scoot” capabilities.

Also showcased will be Honeywell technologies for the next-generation combat vehicle. Honeywell has the broadest range of products to support the Army’s future combat vehicle, ranging from turbine engines and hybrid propulsion systems to helmet-founded displays and SPECTRA ballistic-resistant materials.

The next-generation future vertical lift aircraft will undoubtedly fly with Honeywell technologies onboard, including cutting-edge commercial propulsion, avionics and power systems. Information on these and other technologies also will be available at the Honeywell stand.

Connectivity is changing the battlefield and Honeywell is at the leading edge of the connected defense revolution. Honeywell is the only end-to-end provider of proven connectivity hardware, software, services, applications and airtime. With Honeywell, you get the advantage of having a single solution provider with a proven record of performance under the most demanding conditions imaginable.

Honeywell also will sponsor an award recognizing the best military aviation submission at this year’s Defense Media Dinner.
