Honeywell to Exhibit Latest in Aviation Electronics at AEA Convention In Las Vegas

The annual Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) International Convention & Trade Show is the largest event of its kind in the world. For more than six decades, industry representatives have made this pilgrimage to check out the latest in avionics — a catchier term for aviation electronics.

This year’s AEA Convention will take place March 26–29 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Honeywell Aerospace, along with our avionics subsidiary BendixKing, will offer an impressive exhibit of our companies’ latest products, including cockpit upgrades, equipment to meet global mandates, inflight satellite communications (SATCOM) technology and much more.

The Honeywell lineup will include high-resolution control display units, JetWave and Aspire 200 high-speed SATCOM connectivity solutions, the CNX cabin gateway family, avionics and mechanical protection plans, and the GoDirect suite of services and apps. On the BendixKing side, check out the AeroVue Integrated Flight Deck, a roster of cost-effective ADS-B solutionsand the AeroWave Text & Track personal handheld GPS device.

AEA represents nearly 1,300-member companies from 40 countries. The organization’s annual convention is the platform of choice for dozens of avionics manufacturers, distributors, and international maintenance, repair and overhaul stations to showcase their latest products to a global audience. Many Honeywell and BendixKing dealers will be on hand.

Convention doors open at 8:30 a.m. at the MGM Grand on Monday, March 26, with the Opening Ceremony, Awards Ceremony and New Product Introductions. Sessions run through mid-afternoon on Thursday, March 29.

Attendees also are invited to join their colleagues at the First Nighter Party, sponsored by Honeywell and BendixKing, on Monday, March 26, or come to booth 237 for a reception on Wednesday, March 28. Invitations for the latter will be available for pickup the day before.

The convention will offer more than 75 hours of regulatory, technical and business training along with other unlimited ways to stay current with the newest products in the industry. Check the schedule here for a list of sessions to attend.
