Honeywell Forge Puts You in Control with Content Filtering

Honeywell Forge Puts You in Control with Content Filtering

It’s getting easier for business aircraft operators to control the content Wi-Fi users access online without adversely affecting passenger experience. Improvements to Honeywell Forge Content Filtering let operators block passenger access to certain categories of content they consider unnecessary – like software updates, online shopping and adult content – to reduce data use, save money and free up network space for higher priority uses.

Users will no longer need to contact a Honeywell Forge representative to set their content filtering preferences. Instead, they’ll be able to choose and update their options anytime using the intuitive Honeywell Forge dashboard.

Operators will be able to be more specific about the content they want to filter and can make the selection themselves anytime using a list of the most commonly blocked types of content. Honeywell Forge Content Filtering is ideal for operators who want to limit use of inflight internet to business applications.

The software is flexible and makes it easy for operators to choose the categories that make the most sense and customize their selections depending on the type of passengers flying and purpose of the trip.

Categories include:

  • Software updates
  • Adult content
  • Multimedia
  • Social networking
  • Facebook
  • SMS text-marketing tools
  • Collaboration suites
  • E-Commerce sites
  • Gaming
  • Messaging
  • Cloud services
  • Peer-to-peer networks

Watch for details on the launch of the new Honeywell Forge Content Filtering options. To learn more please contact your Honeywell Forge representative.
