Video: Performing a CTRL-D Download On FMZ-2000 Equipped Aircraft

If you’ve ever contacted Honeywell technical support with a question about why your FMZ FMS didn’t function as expected, its likely we responded with “send us a control D download.” The control D is simply a procedure to download modes and parameters directly from the FMS for further analysis of an event.

While it’s a straightforward procedure, performing a control D download is certainly not a common practice for most operators. SIL D201105000003 has been available to assist in performing the control D, however, operators can now see the procedure with Honeywell’s latest video on the subject.

So, please click on the video link, https://youtu.be/pqj3ecmXLwo, and let us know what you think.
