NorcaTec Continues to Support Honeywell T53 Engines

Honeywell announced earlier this week that they will continue to use NorcaTec as their exclusive distributor of OEM spare parts for the T53 turboshaft engine. Many generations of pilots have flown helicopters powered by Honeywell’s reliable, powerful T53 and T55 families of turboshaft engines. The new agreement will be a multiyear agreement, providing a full range of aftermarket support for spare parts, accessories/LRUs, and components and services.

The T53 engine is best known for powering some of the world’s most iconic helicopters for over 50 years, including the Bell UH-1, AH-1 and 204/205 and Kaman Aerospace K-Max; while the T55 flies on the Boeing© CH-47/B-234 and Bell 309. Equally important to the T53 engine, NorcaTec supports additional Honeywell products as a non-exclusive distributor for the T55 Chinook engine, AGT1500 and other mechanical components for rotary wing and fixed wing applications. Today, the legacy of the T53 remains intact as a properly maintained engine that meets the industry’s most rigorous reliability standards.

Partnering with Honeywell provides NorcaTec with the ability to commit to more inventory, which increases their on-time delivery when receiving urgent requirements from customers.
