Meet the LASEREF family
Honeywell’s LASEREF Inertial Reference Systems provide high-performance inertial navigation data to user systems. Since it was launched in 1997, the LASEREF family has set the standard in the commercial aerospace segment.
LASEREF IV takes innovation to the next level, providing stable performance over the entire range of aerospace environments with an exceptionally long life. It comes with Design Assurance Level A, the highest certification for software that commands, controls and monitors safety-critical functions.
Built-in gyro compassing eliminates the need for magnetic sensors, and supports HUD, SVS and high-bandwidth SATCOM installations. It’s also interchangeable with LASEREF II (using the adapter tray) and LASEREF III (no adapter tray required) for easy installation.
Designed for reliability
Here are a few of the key features of LASEREF IV that prevent long AOG situations:
- Automatic re-align function for post-flight alignments necessary for quick turns.
- Uses the industry standard GG1320 digital gyro.
- Includes ARINC 429 and aircraft standard communication bus digital outputs.
- 25 pounds lighter than LASEREF II and 10 pounds lighter than LASEREF III for optimized fuel consumption and lower maintenance costs.
In addition, the built-in Inertial Reference Unit serves as a GNSS-denied solution with complete on-aircraft autonomous navigation capability in the advent of GNSS interruption or jamming.
