When You Fly, We Fly

In these unprecedented times, our industry - one filled with innovation, safety, hope and unity - must stand shoulder to shoulder to recover from the impact of COVID 19.   

There are many logistical and financial aspects to consider when restarting operations. Once the decision has been made to return an aircraft to service, there is still significant work to be done. Of course, much will depend on how long the aircraft has been grounded – whether this has been limited to just a couple of days, where very little maintenance is needed, or a couple of months and longer where preservation of the aircraft had become necessary.

Of course, your Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) remains the primary source of information.

That said, Honeywell provides many key products and systems for the worlds’ airline fleets, which may need updates or maintenance before an aircraft is returned to service. We have many service bulletins (SB) and Service Information Letters (SIL) in place for both mechanical and avionics components which advise of improvements or software upgrades which will increase the efficiency, reliability and performance of your fleet.

As always, you may contact your assigned field service engineer (FSE) directly, we are committed to treating every return-to-service request in an urgent manner while staying in alignment with the aircraft OEMs. Alternatively, you can also access this support through our portal.
