Overview
Honeywell’s AGT1500 is the Gas Turbine Engine used by the U.S. Army and militaries around the world to power their M1 Abrams fleets. The engine provides 1,500 horsepower, enabling superior acceleration and mobility, propelling the 72-ton tank up to speed of 42 mph.
