Field Service Engineers – Americas

JOHN BRAIDICH

Senior Field Service Engineer, Cleveland, Ohio

John got into aviation by accident. His mother was looking at schools for his brother when she found Cleveland Aviation High School. John spotted a program called Avionics and had just finished a year of high school electronics when he signed up. Forty-two years later he says he still is learning every day.

For John, there isn’t a better sense of accomplishment than helping someone fix their aircraft and make their next trip. It’s why he keeps a motto he learned when he worked at MBNA: “Think of yourself as a customer.” He puts himself in their shoes, does the right thing and goes the extra mile to help them be successful so their success is Honeywell’s success.

John is skilled in Honeywell legacy avionics, including SPZ-8000, 8400 and 8500; Primus 1000-2000, Primus II Radios, Primus Epic, Radar 864, 870 and 800; Radar Altimeter systems, Cabin CMS systems and classic MCS satellite communications systems. He is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.

He is a Lake County YMCA board member. Other leisure interests include home electronics systems and repairs on Apple products.
