James started his aerospace career as a summer intern in Honeywell Supplier Quality Engineering. He joined the company’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in General Engineering with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In ISC, he worked on Quality, Manufacturing and Project Management.
He moved to Honeywell’s Customer & Product Support team in 2012 and focuses on developing expertise in Honeywell’s L-band and Ka-band satellite communications and connectivity product lines.
He was recognized with the Honeywell Aerospace Navigator Award in 2016, was named Global Technical Operations Employee of the Year in 2017, and received the Honeywell Outstanding Engineer Award in 2018 and 2019. He is recognized by many as an expert in satellite communications and connectivity.
James is fluent in Korean and enjoys watching soccer and football in his free time. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new places and is often on the road to meet customers and ensure their satellite communications connectivity.
