Field Service Engineers – Americas

GARY FAVOT

Senior Field Service Engineer, Phoenix Deer Valley, Arizona

Gary stumbled into aviation as a software engineer when Congress mandated TCAS for commercial aviation. He was experienced in the Pascal language, and was tested in his interview by being asked to create a link list – which was need for a sub-routine.

Thirty years later, he takes great joy in relieving operators of any problems so they can keep aircraft flying on schedule. That’s why his customer support philosophy is simply to “remove all anxiety or stress they may be experiencing with Honeywell products.”

Gary holds a bachelor’s in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Arizona. His product expertise centers on Primus Epic (he’s certified in several Primus Epic platforms), INDS and satellite communications at Honeywell, where he has received the prestigious Engineering Technical Achievement Award.

He’s also been honored with several Customer Service Bravo Awards and the Star Award in recognition from Training Partner FSI. He has customer service at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and is pilot ground School-certified.

When Gary is not at work, you just might find him happily restoring and maintaining his classic 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback.
