Field Service Engineers – Americas

EFRAIN VILLAFANE

Field Service Engineer, West Palm Beach, Florida

Efrain has an easy answer about why he chose his career as an A&P mechanic: He enjoyed fixing things and always was interested in aircraft.

After working in positions in maintenance, training, sales and customer service, the one thing that has remained constant is his love of fixing things. Today he says he enjoys working with customers and their aircraft even more than the first day he started, whether he’s taking care of a customer issue or an AOG situation.

Efrain is skilled in customer service, maintenance manual/service bulletin review, and HTF and TFE engine maintenance. He has an associate’s degree in Aviation Maintenance, and holds both Airframe and Powerplant Certificates.

During his career, he’s proud of developing a new hire training program and opening a facility in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Efrain is fluent in Spanish and enjoys fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving. He says he lives by his father’s motto: “Integrity is what you do when no one is watching.”
