Field Service Engineers – Americas

AMANDA RENO

Field Service Engineer, Sao Jose Dos Campos, BRAZIL

Amanda was born where Embraer Brazil is located. Attending its annual open house since childhood, she dreamed of becoming part of an aviation company and seeing how aircraft are built.

She fulfilled that dream by joining Embraer as a product development engineer, where she worked six years on the Ovation system. She’s been with Honeywell four years, primarily working on avionics for Legacy 650 and the Pilatus PC12 Apex system in South America.

Amanda loves that her job provides the opportunity to learn new things every day while she helps customers make their aircraft ready to fly. She strives to provide support in the best way possible – even if the issue is not one of technical support. She keeps customers updated until all final solutions are achieved, believing her actions reflect on Honeywell as well as herself.

Amanda completed technical studies in Telecommunications, a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA in Strategic Management on Trade and Foreign Commerce. She holds Six Sigma Black Belt certification and is fluent in Portuguese.

She was recognized as an Employee of the Month in November 2018 – the same month she received her first BGA avionics training in Phoenix – and was recognized with a Honeywell peer award in December 2018.

Her hobbies include riding horses and street racing.
