If you’re still flying an Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS)-equipped helicopter, you’ll want to spend a little time with Honeywell at Heli-Expo 2014 in Anaheim. A world leader in helicopter avionics and flight displays, Honeywell Aerospace will present a 45-minute Exhibitor Session on its Control Display System/Retrofit (CDS/R) product from 11-11:45 on February 26 in Room 210-A at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Presenting for Honeywell will be Ritu Gupta, Product Marketing Manager; Tom Henderson, Technical Sales Manager; and Paul West, Director of Technical Sales. They will cover the evolution of the helicopter flight deck and why systems like the Honeywell CDS/R are the best option for modernizing EFIS-equipped helicopters.
The Honeywell CDS/R was designed to replace vintage EFIS systems to improve performance and extend the service life of older helicopters. The system is certified on numerous aircraft including the high-performance Eurocopter AS365 N3 Dauphin helicopter. It improves safety and efficiency and enables the integration of sensors such as traffic, enhanced ground proximity warning and weather radar onto a single screen, making it easier and more intuitive for pilots to use and understand.
Can’t make the presentation? Make sure you stop by our booth (#6502) to see the CDS/R in action.
