As our next-generation emergency locator transmitter (ELT), the RESCU 406® SE meets all global safety standards and crash survivability requirements to provide emergency transmission in the event of an aircraft impact.
The RESCU 406 SE ELT is designed for aircraft that operate over both land and water. The rescue beacon is deployed by the crew and instantly activates upon immersion in water with automatic or manual antenna deployment and transmission. It’s developed to work with the COSPAS-SARSAT search and rescue system and transmits distress signals at 121.5, 243 and 406 MHz.
The RESCU 406 SE is easy to install using a flexible mounting bracket, as a simple, drop-in replacement for either the RESCU 99 or RESCU 406 SE ELTs. It also has the same operating principal, physical shape, antenna deployment and transmitter activation as the RESCU 406 S and does not require any training.
