Honeywell Supports Modernization of Armed Forces in Poland

Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne improves Polish military defense capabilities with Honeywell’s TALIN navigation technologies

Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne S.A. (WZE), a Polish electronic systems, military equipment repair and manufacturing company, has selected Honeywell (NYSE: HON) to provide its TALIN inertial navigation system to enhance the mobility of ground forces and improve defensive operations.

Building on Honeywell’s long-term commitment to the Polish military and local partners, the contract will further modernize Poland’s Armed Forces by equipping its fleet of 96 Rak 120mm mortar turret and command vehicles with Honeywell’s TALIN navigation system.

In mission-critical situations, armed forces depend upon exceptionally accurate and durable technology for navigation and pointing. Honeywell’s TALIN has a proven track record of delivering high levels of precision and point-on-the-move capability even in adverse conditions including high-shock and GPS-denied environments.
