Owners and operators of a Learjet 45 or Learjet 40 business jet have a unique opportunity to breathe new life into their cockpits by replacing aging cathode ray tube displays (CRT) with Honeywell’s proven Primus EliteTM DU-875 liquid crystal display (LCD) flat panels.
Operators who sign up for a new HAPP contract by June 30 can save 15% on a new Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan (HAPP) contract, thereby protecting an avionics investment worth $850,000. Customers can also purchase additional coverage so that when their existing DU-870 units fail, they can replace them with a DU-875.
The Honeywell Avionics Protection Plan is a maintenance program that offers full coverage for all Honeywell avionics at more than 600 authorized sales and service centers worldwide. With HAPP, customers can avoid unplanned maintenance costs, downtime—and unnecessary stress—with no-charge loaners and 24/7 “aircraft on ground” (AOG) emergency service.
The Primus Elite LCD was specifically developed as a CRT form/fit/function upgrade to give operators improved safety and more efficient operations while increasing aircraft value. Primus Elite enhances pilot decision-making while reducing crew workload through use of an upgraded user interface where the available graphical information is displayed in the pilot’s primary field of view.
In addition to operational crew benefits, the upgrade offers significant opportunity for the operator to reduce cost of ownership through increased display reliability, reduced weight, and support for paperless terminal charts and maps.
If your old CRTs are still functioning, but you'd like to replace your old displays for new DU-875s, Honeywell is offering a trade-in credit for Learjet 45 and 40 operators. You can save up to $160,000 when you swap all four displays by the June 30 deadline
