Honeywell Aerospace Trading Expands Facilities in Phoenix to Streamline Customer Service

With aircraft operators in all segments of the market increasing their use of pre-owned equipment to assist in reducing costs, Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT) is well-positioned to take advantage of the trend.

HAT buys and sells high-quality, pre-owned Honeywell products from customers and aircraft dismantlers around the world. Almost every part purchased is repaired via the Honeywell repair network, providing customers with confidence in the equipment.

Recently, the group relocated its Phoenix operation to a larger facility in order to improve its distribution infrastructure and expand inventory.

The consolidation provides for streamlined distribution, improving both the cycle times and the quality of deliveries to HAT’s customers. The new, expanded facility with co-location of inventory and staff enhances the Honeywell team of product experts’ ability to access both inventory and its corresponding records to quickly respond to customer inquiries.

And with increased warehouse space — more than 100,000 square feet — HAT is now able to stock a full range of used, serviceable airframe components for Boeing 737, 777 and Airbus A320 aircraft among other airframes.

HAT’s new facility is located near Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), next to Honeywell Aerospace headquarters and a key repair and overhaul site.

The trading group’s Phoenix operation was established in 2001 and has been growing in importance in the past few years as the retirement of younger airplanes accelerates with corresponding growth in the aircraft dismantling service industry.

With the continuing development of HAT, Honeywell offers another alternative for air transport, business, general aviation and defense aircraft operators looking to manage their operating costs.
