Honeywell’s Channel Partner Advisory Board Discusses Aging Aircraft Strategy

On June 7th and 8th, Honeywell conducted its first Channel Partner Advisory Board in 2016 with over 13 different Channel Partners represented. With great pleasure, the board announced the appointment of Darrell Capra from Dallas Airmotive as the new Chairperson for the CPAB and reasserted Hans-Peter Amacher as the Vice-chairperson. Darrell replaces John Slieter from Duncan Aviation who has successfully lead the board for the past years. Also, the board welcomed Turbine Engine Specialist as new partner of the advisory board.

Great discussions took place during the general session, and partners actively participated in topics such as customer support order management, customer pricing reports and technical issues like Outer Fan Corrosion. The CPAB also participated in a breakout session to discuss topics like the aging fleet strategy and as a result, there will be a focus group of MSP and non MSP operators that will provide more input to strengthen the upcoming strategy.

Also, Honeywell presented new resources to the CPAB such as the Channel Partner Services webpage and Advisory Board website. These pages were well received and provide the most relevant to Honeywell’s channel partners as well as general updates from the board.

The next CPAB teleconference will be scheduled in the fall to follow up on RAIL actions and the maturity of the operating system.
