With Engineers Week celebrated around the world Feb. 21-27, what better time to recognize Honeywell aerospace engineers? They share a passion for aerospace – and the technology and science that makes it possible.
At Honeywell Aerospace, our worldwide network of 12,000 engineers is essential to generating and developing the cutting-edge ideas that keep us competitive. As Bob Smith, our Aerospace Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering and Technology, puts it, “We compete on technology. It’s vastly important to what we do.”
Honeywell engineers deliver the expertise that creates value for our customers every day, bringing their unique perspectives from locations encompassing the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. Working together, they continue Honeywell legacy of competitive innovation and creativity by solving problems for the industry and the customers.
That fosters a global mindset and gives our engineers a catalyst for joint development of analysis processes. The result: More improvements in performance, product design, safety and durability –critical essentials for today’s customers.
Engineers have put Honeywell at the forefront of flight for more than 100 years, bringing countless inventions to aircraft all over the world, assisting military missions and enabling exploration deep into space. As Pratap Samuel, Vice President for Honeywell Aerospace Global Honeywell Technology Solutions, points out, “Engineers build creative solutions to complex problems and are always looking for ways to make an impact to our company and society.”
As we celebrate Engineers Week, many thanks to all aerospace engineers – our dreamers and achievers – for their dedication and inspired efforts to keep Aerospace and our customers flying high.
