Heli-Expo Presentations to Feature Honeywell Turboshaft Engines

Light helicopter operators and aircraft and powerplant technicians working on Honeywell’s proven T53 and LTS101 turboshaft engines will want to spend some time with us at this year’s Heli-Expo in Louisville.

We’ll be presenting Manufacturing Technical Briefings that will provide you with up-to-date technical product and maintenance information on our engines. Sponsored by the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Technical Committee, these briefings meet FAA requirements for renewal of inspection authorization certificates.

Attendees will hear from Jim Ebken, Honeywell Product Support Engineer, who also is a long-time member of the HAI Technical Committee. Ebken will provide an overview of the T53 and LTS101 programs, share the latest engine operational data, talk about the company’s plans for the engines and answer questions from attendees. Other Honeywell and channel partner technical experts will also participate in the presentation.

“We’ll be providing a detailed snapshot of initiatives and activities affecting these two engine families over the last year,” Ebken said. “We’ll talk about improvements ahead, including plans to extend inspection intervals, which will save operators time and money.”

The LTS101 briefing is set for March 1st at 14:00 and the T53 technical briefing is scheduled for March 2nd at 08:00. Check conference materials for locations.

Honeywell is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the performance, quality and reliability of its products and reduce cost of ownership for operators flying the complete range of helicopter missions.

Working closely with operators, Honeywell is dedicated to finding and addressing field-related issues with our engines. We’ve employed Honeywell User Experience tools to do a better job of listening to operators, addressing their requirements and continuously improving our products.

If you can’t join us for our technical briefings, make sure you drop by our booth – Number 4945 – to hear about what we’ve been up to and to give us your feedback.
