As the aviation industry balances the prospect of enormous growth by embracing new aircraft technologies while operating in an increasingly challenging business environment, it's more important than ever for Honeywell to have a voice in the global training agenda.
Honeywell training department representatives will get their chance April 18-21 in Orlando at the World Aviation Training Conference and Tradeshow (WATS), the world's largest meeting of aviation training professionals.
The 19th edition of WATS will offer 100 carefully selected presentations in five conference streams, making it an ideal place for Honeywell to reach out to the global aviation community about our training support capabilities.
Training support staff at the Honeywell booth (#533) will be focusing on flight training based on real aircraft code and PC-based training products that support flight simulators using actual aircraft software.
"Of course we'll also be spreading the word on how our newest products support the industry," said Karen Peterson, Simulation & Training Industry Support Manager.
The conference gets high marks from attendees with 96 percent of past delegates calling it "excellent or above average" and more than half planning on purchasing training equipment.
"Our key messaging will be that Honeywell believes in providing customers with leading aviation products as well as the technical support to keep their simulators flying," Peterson said.
