HTS900 Enables Operational Savings for Law Enforcement Operators

July 9, 2015

Honeywell’s HTS900 engine is included in the Eagle 407HP upgrade and certified by the FAA and Transport Canada. The engine is the newest addition to Honeywell’s industry-leading family of helicopter engines. The HTS900 uses a next-generation dual-centrifugal compressor architecture to deliver more power and a longer range with less fuel consumption and lower maintenance costs.

n fact, the latest engine technology enables up to a 17 percent reduction in fuel burn and up to a 12 percent reduction in direct maintenance compared to the incumbent engine – reducing total operating costs, so the savings can be applied to other law enforcement priorities.

Operators attending this year’s Airborne Law Enforcement Association Conference (ALEA) in Houston July 15-17 can learn first hand about the benefits of upgrading their Bell 407 helicopters with the Honeywell HTS900 turboshaft engine.

To schedule a demonstration or for more information on the upgrade, contact Craig Swayne, Eagle Copters, cswayne@eaglecopters.com or Rick Buchanan, Honeywell, Richard.buchanan@honeywell.com or visit the Eagle Copters booth #103 at ALEA 2015.
