Honeywell Meets Demand for Customer Support in Brazil

Honeywell Aerospace has been working hard in a number of areas to meet the increasing demand for customer and product support in Brazil.

One of the first initiatives was to hire new Technical Support Engineers based out of Brazil to supplement Honeywell's existing team of TSEs in South America. Rafael Azevedo, Customer Support Manager for Mechanical and Avionics is responsible for business-related issues while Amanda Renó and Diana Barsanti provide technical support for avionics and engines.

Honeywell continues its support of OEM Maintenance and Operations (M&O) in the region, hosting conferences, seminars and technical demonstrations like the Honeywell Satcom team’s visit to the region as well as supporting OEM operators' conferences such as the Pilatus®' Brazilian Operator Conference in March, Dassault®’s Regional M&O Seminar in April and Embraer®’s Executive Operators Conference, EEOC2015, in May.

Meanwhile, Dallas Airmotive was recently authorized as an HTF Line Service Center to support Honeywell turbofan engines in Brazil They will have formal training in August and are working to have Brazilian civil aviation authority (ANAC) authorization shortly after.

Listening to customers, Honeywell put regional Exchange & Rental Program (SPEX) support agreements in place to provide better access to needed parts. For example, Honeywell positioned more than 150 parts at their Forward Stocking Location at TAM Airlines, shortening the time for local customers to receive these parts as the components don’t need to pass through customs.

Customers can access these parts via the Honeywell MyAerospace portal or by contacting Joel Neves or Fabio Mauerberg at TAM.

Honeywell's Brazilian customers can escalate issues through dedicated managers in specific aerospace domains including business and general aviation (Rafael Azevedo); air transport and regional airlines; BendixKing® products (Michele Perrone); and helicopters (Fernando Rocha - military, Marcos Carvalho - commercial).

Finally, customers can download a variety of mobile apps such as Pilot Gateway, Direct Access and Global Data Center which are available for both iOS and Android systems, to gain access to a world of Honeywell information for parts, technical support and pilot information.
