Due to customer feedback gathered from customers placing HAPP or warranty exchange orders, the MyAerospace team has implemented some infrastructure changes to improve speed and reduce errors.
In some cases, when placing these zero dollar orders, customers were going on credit block when the orders generated invoices a the full exchange price. Additionally, we heard feedback that our system was taking too long to validate the warranty, causing unnecessary delays. We have fixed these issues!
Although the updates have improved how orders for parts covered under Warranty and HAPP are actually processed, from the user interface perspective, you will not see any changes in how you enter the order. What we did changed how the orders are processed in our SAP system; these changes addressed the unnecessary credit blocks and warranty validation speed to eliminate those issues. These changes will reduce both invoicing errors and shipping delays for covered exchange orders.
